Fiction Books for 50 cents

Bookstacks at the Mary Reed Building, University of Denver campus, 2199 S. University Blvd is having a sale.

All fiction books – including mysteries — are 50 cents apiece at the Bookstacks March Sale, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday through March 31.

Proceeds support the University of Denver’s Penrose Library.

Gently Used Childrens Items Sale

Mothers of Multiples Society (MOMS) will hold their semi-annual M.O.M.S. Sale on Saturday, March 13 at the Douglas County Events Center, from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Admission is $1.

Nearly 29,000 square feet of space is filled with gently-used children’s equipment, toys, clothes, furniture, books, strollers, maternity wear and more. Expect to save 50% to 90% off retail prices. Veterans of these sales suggest you bring a laundry basket or bag to carry items. The Events Center is one mile east of I-25 at exit 181 in Castle Rock.

Denver’s Largest Childrens and Maternity Consignment Sale Event

Just Between Friends of Denver is holding the city’s largest kids’ gear and clothing re-sale event March 12 to 14 at the National Western Complex. You’ll find more than 75,000 items — gently used (and sometimes new) kids gear and clothing, toys, books, movies, shoes, electronics, strollers, cribs, bikes, highchairs, maternity wear, safety items, and more. Prices are typically 50% to 90% below retail. The show runs Friday, March 12: 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday, March 13: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m and Sunday, March 14: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. with items half-price on Sunday. Admission is FREE and parking at the National Western Complex is just $5 the entire weekend (meaning you pay once but can return without paying again).
