Friday July 16th from 4 to 8 the Denver Children’s Museum will be open to the publicfor a second time this month for FREE! Let the kids run wild through 11 interactive Playscapes as they explore, discover, and burn off lots of excess energy. The museum is located at 2121 Children’s Museum Drive, off I-25 and 23rd Avenue. 303-433-7444 This is part of “Target’s Arts & Wonder Weekend.” A special thanks to Target stores. Ulta has a coupon on their site good for $3.50 off a $10 or more purchase! I know that Ulta has some good deals, so this should make for a sweet shopping trip! The location is I-225 and Alemedia, which isn’t close to South Denver, but it’s a big event and could be a lot of fun for the family. If you haven’t noticed the Blockbuster in the Safeway shopping center is closing it’s doors. The family has already cleared the store out of old Wii games and the few family movies that we were missing on DVD for great prices. Do not fret over the loss as a Blockbuster Express film rental kiosk has made it’s way into the Safeway where the old rental kiosk was. To help introduce potential customers to the new kiosks, Blockbuster is offering a FREE one-night rental code: GL15A. The code is good to July 30. Now the RedBox in the McDonald’s across the street will have some competition as the old Kiosk in Safeway was always out of the movies that you wanted. Parker is having their 2nd annual Parker Carfest. The event is from 10 to 2 on Sunday July 18th and is FREE to the public. The event combines the normal Sunday Farmers Market with a car show featuring all styles and eras. The event is in downtown Parker at Pikes Peak Dr and Pikes Peak Ct. |
